About

Welcome! I’m Ari Cricks, a Central-Florida based music teacher, tutor, and writer with a passion for research and expanding my own mind along with the minds of others. Whether you’re a student or grownup looking for academic support, a budding musician in need of lessons, or someone with a creative or scholarly project, I’m here to help you navigate the path to success. My approach to teaching is grounded in a love of learning that I aim to inspire in others.

What I do:

Tutoring – K-12
I tutor primarily middle and high school math and science, including math up to Calculus AB and IB A&A along with AP Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. If you need anything else, just ask! Either I can help, or I know someone who can.

Music Lessons – all ages
I play 14 instruments at various levels, and I use my skills from my background in music education to teach several, including strings, brass, voice, piano, and general music/music theory. My main instruments are viola and horn, but that doesn’t limit me! If you need something specific, ask, as I can either teach it myself or refer you to someone who does.

Writing
In my undergraduate years, I developed a deep love for writing and research as part of my goal of making education accessible wherever I go. Here I share my thoughts and essays while working on larger projects. I may also link to published writings in the future.
